A Workshop for Neighborhood Residents

Neighborhood Associations in Bellingham are invited to apply to host a free Comfort with Conflict workshop in 2018. The 2 hour workshops will invite participants to: 

  • Explore the root of conflict
  • Assess their needs and emotional triggers
  • Understand how the body reacts to stress
  • Learn problem solving strategies

The workshops are available at no cost to eligible neighborhood associations, and will be free for participants to attend. To be eligible, associations must be willing to partner with the WDRC, and must be able to promote the workshop to neighborhood residents.

Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, and must be received by February 28, 2018. Please direct questions to outreach@whatcomdrc.org or 360.676.0122 x 115.

Our  trainings can help you learn how to communicate effectively and work through conflict productively. We offer trainings for professionals, community members, individuals, and groups.

Youth Program

Our youth program empowers young people to build healthy relationships and resolve conflict in constructive and creative ways. We offer trainings for school groups, organizations, and the juvenile justice system.
