Wander Brewing and WDRC present distance run alternative

Wander Brewing and the Whatcom Dispute Resolution Center have teamed up to offer an alternative to the traditional Whatcom County distance race fundraiser. They’re offering the third annual Wander to Wander 1K on Sunday, Sept. 11 at 11 a.m. The wander starts at Johnny’s Donuts and ends a Wander Brew Hall, a .62 mile course down Cornwall Avenue in Bellingham.

The event will kick off Bellingham Beer Week, and proceeds will go to the Whatcom Dispute Resolution Center.

Registration is $20 in advance, $25 on the day of. Kids 12 and under are free, but need to register to receive a medal. Registration includes a donut at the beginning and a pint of beer or root beer at the finish. Costumes and pets are welcome.
